UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the UT Health East Texas system and the first—and only—facility in the region to offer ECMO. The system also operates an EMS fleet of more than 60 ambulances, 1 ECMO truck, and four helicopters to allow for full ECMO transport capabilities.
